Breaking News: Prominent tracking poll shows Phillips gaining momentum
A prominent tracking poll released on August 8th shows Larry Phillips just 1.5 percentage points away from moving on to the General Election in the King County Executive’s race.
Phillips’ campaign, which released a wave of positive and uplifting TV commercials last week, has been rising in the polls.
“Times are tough, but with hope, optimism, and hard work we can overcome this recession,” Phillips said. “As a region, we’ve done it before. With the right attitude and effective leadership we can do it again. That’s what this campaign is about – focusing on opportunity and improving our quality of life.”
The polls suggest Phillips is gaining momentum just in time. Election Day is on August 18th and the top two candidates will move on to the General Election.
