Phillips’ momentum continues to grow

SEATTLE — The Phillips campaign reported receiving $77,635 in March – a significant demonstration of their momentum.

The campaign’s March numbers reflect Phillips’ strong connections with people from all across King County, and his solid position relative to others in the field. The Phillips campaign’s cash balance totaled $122,447, exceeding the cash balance of the only other candidate to report fundraising activity, Councilmember Constantine, by $64,992.

Phillips’ momentum also extended to the grassroots, and the campaign recruited its 1000th supporter by the close of the month. Supporters include the Washington State Council of County and City Employees, Carpenters Local No. 1797, about 100 grassroots leaders within the Democratic Party and many elected officials.

“Our supporters are ready to be a part of a new direction for King County, and it’s incredible that so many are already aboard and raring to go,” said Larry Phillips.
